Update!

It's been a long while since I last make an entry for my blog. It's been quite a busy month for me. An update of what I had been doing for this whole month. Come to think of it February is coming to an end by tomorrow. Another month pass by and we will be entering into the month of March, wohoo!! Spring is coming and so is Summer! Yes! By 29th March, the time will move forward one hour, entering into BST. Another wonderful day to look forward to.

Well, enough of all jibberish sentences, time to enter into the real topic here - Update. Hmm...about two weeks back, I had two courseworks to hand in on the same day. As expected, spent the whole night trying to finish both of them, which I have to say I managed to do and handed both in on time. The only concern I have is 'how will the marks be for those two courseworks?' Up until now the marks I obtained for my courseworks are average 50+%. I will hafta work harder for my remaining courseworks to obtain the 2-1 grade I need. The only way to do it is to be in the library or in uni almost everyday. Lately, I've been spending lesser time in the library than before, need to get my gear on and do some hardcore works.

Beside that, I also went to London to visit one of my sisters and a fren of mine. Although the trip only lasted for three days n two nites, it was fun. I took some time off from my courseworks and give myself a holiday. I will be going down to London again at the end of March. Tis time it will be a one week stay, hehehe...gotta make my train money worth. One thing about London is, never go there for a day, cuz London is huge and require more than a day or two to completely explore the bustling city. It is one busy city and definitely expensive. Another word it is a pocket-draining city. Be prepare to spend like crazy during a trip to London. The tube itself is pricey enough, not to mention the accommodation and the galleries and tourist attractions sites. Overall, to completely enjoy London, one need to be filthy rich :P

Hmm...what else did I do throughout February? I visited my dear fren's home and spent time with her and her adorable family. I realized I always stay more than two hours at her home everytime I go for a visit, hehehe....time really does fly by fast when you are having a wonderful time with your frens. With a blink of the eye, it's already night time.

One bad thing did happen in February which is the shower on my floor broke down. Haiz..it took one week for us to get a new one installed. What did I do throughout those one week? Luckily a fren of mine lives about 15mins away from my place, so I walked over to her place to shower throughout that one week - much appreciated. I m happy that she is back to Nottingham to do her Master degree and living in the city centre too.

I supposed that's all the interesting things that had been happening to me up til now. Oh and it snowed a lot this year too and the temperature even reach -4! Luckily now the temperature starts increasing, no more torture of the coldness. Let us all accpet Spring with our open arms. Welcome Spring! Goodbye Winter!

February Snow!

It finally snow in Nottingham! And it's in the month of February. It is freezing cold at the moment. The feeling of walking in the snow and having snow instead of rain falling onto ur head is wonderful, especially when it's once in a lifetime experience. My first snow experience was back in Dec 2005, and that was the best snow experience. After that year, snow doesnt fall in December for three consecutive years, instead it fall in either January or February. The answer to the change is unknown to me. But it was great to see the snow and spent it with my frens, it was a lovely day today. Starting tomorrow, it will be back to work full time, playtime is over and CNY celebration is not officially over until next monday. Gotta go prepare for some work now.

Another wonderful singer - Kris Dayanti

Kris Dayanti is a Indonesian female singer. I remember this song of hers that is very popular back in the early 2000s or late 90's, one of the years, called 'Menghitung Hari'. Until now, this song is still one of my favourite songs. Here once again is another talented singer of South East Asia (SEA). Even though SEA consists of developed, developing and third world countries, but still we have the ability to produce talented singers of our own. A country status does not determine a person's personality. In the eye of our Father, we are all equal and all are 'brothers' and 'sisters'.

It has been awhile since I post something. This week has been quite a wonderful weeks. Two of my courseworks had been returned to us, and I have to say, up til now I do not noe wat the final result might be. All I am aiming for is to able to graduate when July comes. Starting now, I gotta concentrate real hard in Uni, mostly to attend all lectures and seminars (if possible). Tis Winter is a pain, making me want to sleep all the time. It's end of January and entering February. A sign that Summer is near and Spring is even nearer.

The Singer - Siti Nurhaliza

I was sitting in my room reading the Building Magazine, while having my media player on as a background music, when Siti Nurhaliza's song came on. It really caught my attention. Being a Malaysian singer, she really can sing. Not just a pretty face, but also a great singer. Furthermore the song tat was playing happened to be a live performance of hers. And it sound really good. Powerful and strong voice she has. Having that voice of hers, it is of no wonder she is one of the most famous Malaysian female singers of all time. Unfortunately I do not noe how to incorporate the live performance of hers from my media player. So, I shall let you all to feast on this photo of hers instead, hehehehe....

That's it from me, after taking a long break from blogging. Hehehehehe..... oh well, it's been a busy week since new term start. So far, I'm enjoying every bit of my final year, another thing to look forward to is none-other than Chinese New Year! Happy CHinese New Year! Tis yr is the OX year! Wohooo.....

What is a 'country'?

In political way, how does one define a 'country'? All this while, being a Malaysian, we r not allow to go to Israel, as it is not recognize as a country. I just found out that we cannot post any mail to that country through the local post office, as it is not listed under the list of countries. Even using the courier services such as DHL & etc, is troublesome too. What is it about this country that makes it stand out than the rest of the countries. Basically, Malaysian can go to anywhere in the world, except Israel - it is stated in the passport. On the other hand, I read on this forum where someone stated that we can go to Israel only for religion purpose, this refers to non-Muslims. But many procedures need to be taken in order to get the permission n the application needs to be apply through the church, apparently. Well, to be honest, I do not much about this issue. All I noe is that Malaysians r not allow to go to Israel. Besides Malaysia, are there any other countries that is the same? Any suggestions? Tis is pretty interesting Israel not being recognized as a country. Anyone care to share some information and shed some lights to it?

2 girls & streets full of discount!

A snap shot of the city's clear blue sky to start my day off with. Do not be tricked by its look, cuz today is another chilly day, with the temperature reaching -4 degrees! Yikes! It was extremely cold, so cold tat u cant even feel ur hands, feet and ur face by the end of the day. Killer weather. Oh but shopping sure made us forget about the cold, in my case it did.
Apparently the winter sale is on and this year sales seem to be better than last year. Cuz I bought a wonderful dress that was originally priced at £75 for the price of £18! Wat a bargain! Well, it was £20 at the sale but since I m a student, I got another 10% off! Amazing aye! My fren n I were over our head. It was amazing! The sale, oh it sure did make my day. On top of that, I spent it with my dearest fren. It was a wonderful day today. Next big shopping day is no other than on the 17th. Wohoo!! This time it will be my fren turn to shop for our graduation's ball dress. Shopping once in a while is pretty enjoyable. It is understandable why ladies and girls too love to shop. Cuz as a female species myself, it is in our blood and in our system to shop enourmously, especially when there is a sale as big as this one! Wahahahaha......Here's the photo of the dress that I bought.

How does it look? Different ppl haf different taste. As for me, I absolutely love it! That's all for today. Ah the cold weather cannot defeat the shopping spree. Terra!

2 guys, a girl & a curry house

I had a very filling dinner with two of my frens just now. It was a very late dinner. At first we plan to haf dinner at Pizza Hut, then change to Bella Italia tat stop serving food (9:30p.m.) by the time we reached there. In the end, myself - with an empty stomach - n my frens walked about 10minutes or so to this curry house - Desi Downtown. It was around 10pm by the time we sat down, ordered and had our food served. Within an hour, we finished our dinner. The food wasn't too bad, pretty spicy and I suppose it must be a proper Indian food. This is the 3rd time I went there for my dinner. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a few snaps of the food to share with everyone, as I was incredibly hungry when the food arrived. All I could think of was 'food, food, food'. If I happen to go there another time - not that soon hopefully - I shall take a few snaps of the food. Overall, dinner wasn't too bad and it kind of made my day. I spent about 5 hours in the library today doing bits of my courseworks. Well, although the outcome of the 5 hours was not much, but it's a good start. Holiday and play time is over. Time for me to get my full gear on and attack my courseworks! Here's the photos I took for the evening. Terra!

Second entry

The second entry for my blog, hehehe....the above pic is the curry that my frend - PB - cooked. It's the first time I had curry with spaghetti, which wasnt too bad. In conjunction to that, we watched two different genres of movies and lucky me, I got to try out a Thai snack for the first time! It doesn taste too bad, quite nice. Now back to the movies, we watched 'Fred Claus' followed by 'THe Last King of Scotland'. A light hearted movie followed by quite an intense movie to make the nite. ...'Killing two birds with one stone' just pop onto my mind.
While walking back to my place, I had to endure the cold weather which wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. Ah Winter, how I cant wait for Spring to come. This cold weather is suffocating n miserable...oh blimey, look at the time...definitely bedtime. Yet another day gone by without any excitement. Tomorrow will be another day to face another cold weather....Counting down to the start of new term - 7 days.
